Get ready for The Big Home Game with Tony's® Pizzeria Style Pepperoni Pizza and our super easy Creamy Pico de Gallo Dip! Homecoming is here and it’s time to enjoy some pre-game fun with friends and family under the Friday Night Lights!

Our kids attended a huge high school, where the average graduating classes number around 800, so you can imagine what the stands may look like when Homecoming is scheduled. It’s a special game where recent grads can come home from college and catch up with their school and see friends. We loved attending this big game and being around contagious school spirit!

We always enjoyed grabbing a bite to eat before heading to the homecoming game and the favorite in our house was always Tony’s Pizza. When I found Tony's® Pizzeria Style Pepperoni Pizza at our local Price Chopper Market 32 store, I knew our pre-game traditional meal was going to be delicious.

Price Chopper Market 32 is super local to me and are a great supporter of the community. I knew I would find our favorite flavor Tony's® Pizzeria Style Pepperoni Pizza there and I was right. Not only is Tony’s Pizza easy to find, you can see it as soon as you walk in the store!

I grabbed two boxes; one Tony's® Pizzeria Style Pepperoni Pizza and one Tony's® Pizzeria Style Cheese Pizza and fixings for our favorite Chip Dip.

Chip Dip came about from a pre-game football dinner years ago. When football is played on the home field, we learned that we would have to arrive in the parking lot extra early because traffic and parking were nuts. I was trying to keep dinner quick and easy and one Friday night, we ate our pizza and had to jump in the car to get going. So I took a container of Pico de Gallo and a container of sour cream and mixed them together, put them in a container and out the door we went. Don’t ask me why this dip was magical, but folks couldn’t get enough. So, from that moment on, we called it “Chip Dip, “ and it became a game-time favorite!

 

We love Tony’s Pizza because it tastes homemade. It’s super crispy and is balanced really well with tomato sauce and 100% real mozzarella cheese, making you look forward to each and every bite.

 

 

 

When fall arrives, I look forward to making this fun meal, cheering on our home team!
