box white cake mix

bottle or can Cherry 7UP
measure out 12 oz.
Frosting:
½
lb
butter
2 sticks, room temperature
1
package cream cheese
8oz., room temperature
1
lb.
package confectioners’ sugar
1
tsp
vanilla

Instructions
Cupcakes:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Line muffin tin with paper baking liners.
In a large mixing bowl, combine cake mix and 1 can (or measure out 12 oz.) Cherry 7UP.
DO NOT ADD ANYTHING ELSE TO THE CAKE MIX.
Pour cake batter into paper-lined muffin cake pans and bake for 20 minutes or until toothpick tests clean.
Cool 10 minutes in pan then turn out to wire rack to cool completely.
Make frosting:
In a stand mixer, combine butter, cream cheese, sugar, vanilla, and lemon-lime 7UP. Whip together for 2-3 minutes until smooth.
Place frosting in pastry bags with a large star tip (Wilton 1M).
Place white sanding sugar on a plate and dip the top of the cupcake in sugar.
