Easy appetizer made with sweet summer cherry tomatoes and bacon. It's like eating your favorite sandwich but without the bread! So delicious, you can't stop at just one.

Ingredients
1-2pintsof cherry tomatoes
½poundbaconcooked and crumbled
¼cupmayonnaise
¼cupsour cream
2Tbsp.grated Romano cheese
1Tbsp.dried chopped chives
Instructions
Cut a thin slice off top of each tomato and scoop out pulp.
Place upside down on paper towel lined tray to dry.
In bowl, combine all ingredients and stir well.
Place into pastry bag (or sandwich bag with tip snipped) and pipe into tomato centers. Refrigerate at least 1 hour before serving for filling to set.
Alternative serving suggestion:
Place filling into decorative bowl on top of 1 large lettuce leaf. Surround bowl with multi colored loose tomatoes or place 1-2 on small bamboo skewer and fan around bowl.
This also goes great with multi-grain crackers or small baguette slices.
