I have been traveling for the past week attending back to back conferences. The week started with our first food tour – traveling all the way to rural North Carolina to visit Prestage Farms and Smithfield Inc., to learn all about pork; taking us from the farm to the processing plant. This #FarmtoPork tour was pretty amazing and I learned A LOT. There will be a series of posts to highlight this trip and I hope you will come back to read each post. It was an experience I will never forget and I want to share that with all of you.
The latter part of the week brought me to Atlanta, GA to attend the Type A Conference. We made new friends and most definitely stayed up into the wee hours catching up with old. I love this conference-all are there to have fun but also to soak in as much knowledge as possible. From attendees to sponsors, we gather to share what we know with an open dialogue, support our friends and long to be with each other the next year before even leaving the hotel. It’s an awesome conference and if you have never been, you should definitely place it on your radar.
I’m looking forward to writing recaps on both of these events and hope you are looking forward to reading them!
