Wordless Wednesday| Apple Cider Doughnut Style

Last month, the Today Show was doing their take on #100days of Happy. On the last day, they asked for submissions for what makes you happy. The day before, I had been to my favorite local orchard, Riverview Orchards and grabbed a dozen of fresh hot apple cider doughnuts.

And this is the tweet that I posted:

And this is the photo I sent:

Do you know that to date, this is the one picture that has garnered the most favorites and most retweets? Yep. It went gangbusters.

I guess an apple cider doughnut makes a lot of folks feel happy- including this gal!

So, on this Wednesday, I hope you can find a fresh, hot apple cider doughnut to enjoy. If not, here is the recipe for a baked version I made last year that can give this version above a run for the money!

4 days . . . 4 days until the marathon. Then I’ll lighten up on the diet, just a bit.

Apple Cider doughnuts are among my all-time favorite foods.
