This past summer we enjoyed a very much needed beach vacation. Thankfully, family resides at the sandy shores of Virginia Beach, VA making visits fun and relaxing.
In a beach resort location that welcomes thousands of folks every year, it would be hard to pick out great eats from the endless lists of establishments. Choices become much easier when you have locals sharing what is top notch and what should be avoided. Lucky for us, my brother and his family appreciate really good food. When a break in the kitchen is needed, they know exactly where to go for a quick family meal that is out of this world good.
After a busy day of visiting and cousin playing we opted to order pizza, garlic knots, meatball subs and greek salad from Primo Pizza.
I really don’t know where to start…everything was fresh and mouth watering. The garlic knots? Simply heaven.
And the Greek Shrimp Salad? Could not get into the mouth fast enough….
We also explored one of their favorite farm stands located in Sandbridge, VA. A very unassuming place to see it road side…but as you step in to Bay Breeze Farm Stand, your eyes are met with vivid colors of fresh produce and cut flowers.
And the berries and peaches? I think I can still taste their sweet juice!
