Today is Friday and it’s time for coffee, talk, and love. 🙂 It’s been a few weeks since I have been able to share a cup of coffee with you and catch up about the weekly happenings, so I thought I’d pop in and say “Hi!”
The last few weeks have been a whirl-wind for sure; some good…some not so good.
Bad news first, right?
The company we use to host our site was hacked and all of the servers went kaput. We had nothing for d-a-y-s….which was a true headache. Projects got delayed, work for clients got delayed, everything got delayed. It has taken me a few weeks to get back on track and I think I am finally there. I would like to give a shout out to David Allen who owns & operates My Billing & Support (our hosting company) who worked tirelessly through the Snowpocalypse to get all of his clients, including Eat Picks®, up and running again. A true professional and I could not recommend him enough. If you are looking for a new hosting company, please consider David- he’s awesome!
We had water issues, hubs travelled for 3 weeks straight, work has been busy, and I am still dealing with items from my accident in September, leaving me very little time to chip away at my goal list for 2016.
It’s already the middle of the month and I am just surfacing for air. Woo-boy.
But, I don’t like to dwell too much on the bad, because it’s not really bad per se, just a bump in the road. So, I pour myself another cup of coffee and keep trudging forward!
The water issues I mentioned above? Well, we were under a boil advisory for a week and having hearty sandwiches and our delicious Easy Beef Barley Soup on hand made dinner a snap!
After many requests (You guys rock!), I also shared a recipe for Power Eggs Breakfast, one of my go-to meals to keep me running through the day.
And speaking of requests…
One of my goals for 2016 is to create a series of eCookbooks that will be released quarterly. I just completed the first one! Woo-hoo! I have been burning the midnight oil to get it loaded up into a shopping cart and should be ready for you the beginning of March! I am so happy with how it turned out and I know you will love it too.
I have had so many requests for meal plans and I wanted to let you know that they will be coming to you very soon! I will be adding meal plans to a future cookbook, so stay tuned!
This weekend is Valentine’s Day and I hope you will enjoy a yummy meal and time with someone special. I will have a great new recipe on Sunday as part of the #SundaySupper crew and Florida Strawberry! Check back and see! It will be delicious 😉
