Yesterday I started the 3-Day Detox Plan seen on Dr. Oz and shared the breakfast smoothie. It was pretty tasty and surprised me by being so filling.
Today is Day 2 and I’m sharing my opinion on the Lunch Smoothie.
It had promise…I liked everything that went into it….
but the end result?
No. Not that much.
The taste was just ok…but the texture made it very hard to get through. Where the Breakfast drink was on the thin side, I preferred it way more than the drink I had to CHEW. Yes…the lunch smoothie was so thick I had to use a spoon and chew/drink/eat.
What is in the Lunch Drink?
- Green Apple
- Coconut Oil
- Almond Milk
The positive spin on this drink was it was even more filling than the AM drink and kept my appetite satisfied until snack time. I had this around 12pm and snack time came around 3:30pm.
What can you have as a snack? Your favorite smoothie of the day! As I did not have the dinner choice yet, I made that for a snack.
