Coffee Talk Friday is back and I want to welcome you to our space here on the web! Every Friday (or almost every Friday) we sit down and share a cup of coffee and what great things happened during our week. For me, the last 5 days have been completely filled with online classes and self taught tutorials. My brain is tired. For reals.
I probably had a cappuccino every afternoon. And that was still not enough! Do you like the mug I have in this picture? You can get your very own in our Eat Picks® store on Zazzle.com! Here is a link to the mug for when you need coffee!
I’ve done tutorials on how to set up shopping carts, how to get items loaded up in e-junkie and a crash course on email newsletter set up all through chat with the lovely Heather Solos from FeedBlitz. I should tell you- I am NOT a techie person at all, so all of this information is more than can handle.
I’ve also started running again albeit slowwwwwly. I have the Pittsburgh Half Marathon coming up in May and I need to be ready. It has been great to get out on the road again. I’ve missed lacing up the shoes. Because I’ve been taking every precaution, the neck and back have been holding up. I’ve been easing into the miles so not to overwhelm the body. So far, so good.
Another Foodgawker Photo!
We had another photo accepted at Foodgawker! Our Strawberry Fruit Pulp Bread Recipe! It’s as tasty as it is delicious!
I’m also gearing up for our first eCookbook to launch next month (hence the above tutorial sessions) and am looking forward to getting our next book under way.
This week will also bring me to a local tavern The Factory Eatery, to take part in a 5-course beer pairing dinner. I thought it would be a fun date night for me and the hubs. I’ll make sure I take a lot of pictures and report back how the evening went. I’m anticipating a delicious time.
I’ve also been going through all the saved Facebook videos of recipe hacks to see if they really work. I’ve tried two so far and I would say…eh. I’ve definitely had to put my own spin on them, but will try once more to see if I can perfect them. If you are curious which recipes I’ve tried so far, join us on Facebook or Instagram. You can always search for the hashtag #eatpicks on our social media platforms too.
Well, as I mentioned- the brain is fried this week. I hope your days went well.
Enjoy the weekend and see you next week!
