Thank you so much for all the birthday wishes last week! It was wonderful to hear from family and friends making my day all that much more special.
I had a few posts that I had planned for this week, but I am afraid they will have to wait.
Life it seems, tends to dictate what you need to do rather than what you want to do.
I still cannot wrap my brain around the devastation that each morning brings to the folks in NYC, NJ, CT & RI.
And those in Staten Island or Queens? I just can’t find the words.
If you are able to, please, please help in any way you can. Donations to the Red Cross are available in many ways.
Two of the easiest :
Call: 1-800-RED CROSS (1-800-733-2767)
Text: Text REDCROSS to 90999 to donate to Disaster Relief efforts
Yesterday, I donated via text. It’s easy & I know it will help someone eat a meal, have water or a blanket for warmth. They need our help.
National Novel Writing Month is back and I am going to attempt to finish a novel in 30 days. Originally I thought about continuing the one I started last year, but I came across a story idea that I had tucked away and have decided to pursue this instead. It’s a Mystery/Thriller set in Washington DC , a beloved President & a cold case that is about to wreak havoc on a secret that has been kept for over a decade. The first chapter is finished and it’s been a lot of fun to write! Can’t wait to see how the plot unfolds! Even in this 1st chapter, I am shocked of what I’m learning!! 😉
As word counts will be close to 1700 per day…posts here will be a bit light this month.
However, I do have some important posts that will be shared, so be sure to check back on the 12th and 14th.
We learned yesterday that a beloved uncle passed away. It is a very sad time for our family and we will be heading to spend time with family for the next few days. You may see quick updates here and there, but I will be pretty quiet on social media channels for a bit. Please send a prayer up for this special man. He was loved and will be missed dearly.
Thank you for everything.
