It’s over there to the right too….
It’s an idea that I had over the summer that took off like a rocket and then kind of petered out. Not completely, but I will have to admit, it has been sitting in limbo due to my lack of commitment.
Oh, you have no idea how it pains me to write that.
But it is true. I have neglected the idea that filled me with pride every time I uttered the words: Blog it Forward.
If I planned properly, I would have had this as a feature on my blog first, rather than get caught up in the excitement of everything and go through the process of building a separate home for it. Yeah, sometimes I am a ‘dip a toe in the water’ kind of person, but this had me jumping in with both feet, leaving me sopping wet.
Live and learn.
BIF still has promise because I know deep down we all want to ‘Pay it Forward’ …or in this case, Blog it Forward…bloggers helping bloggers. We are a supportive bunch and I know this because I have been on the receiving end of such kindness. I wanted to have a place where I could share the story behind that and pass it on.
I am starting to add to BIF, slowly…but with more consistency. I received a request from a blogger to highlight an event that she is doing on her blog on Friday, April 22. This really is the essence of BIF…supporting another fellow blogger in any way possible.
Selena of Oh My Aches and Pains is participating in Break Cancer event where she is going to try to set a record for the most comments on a cancer awareness blog post. Here is more about the event:
