Chicago on Your Travel Bucket List?

Is Chicago a destination on your travel bucket list? It should be! There are so many things to see and do it can be a little overwhelming. Chicago is one of my favorite places to visit because you can always find new experiences from architecture to food each and every time and you can’t beat the Midwestern hospitality!

One of my first trips to this city was a few years ago as I tagged along with my husband on a business trip. We arrived a day before his meetings started and decided to make it a day full of museum stops, one of which included the Field Museum.

The King Tut exhibit had just arrived and we were lucky enough to get tickets on opening day. We decided to use the headphone guided tour and were amazed at the beautiful artifacts and the stories behind each one. It was an experience I still treasure to this day.

Years later, on another trip with friends, we booked a three-hour Segway Tour which brought us winding through the streets, parks, and attractions from the Shedd Aquarium, past Wrigley Field, and back downtown. It was so fun!
