Eat Picks® is Headed to Ohio for Certified Angus® Beef!
That's right folks, Eat Picks® is headed to the area that Rocks, according to Drew Carey and a few relatives. This weekend I am traveling to a town near Cleveland, OH called Wooster, to visit the digs of the Certified Angus Beef® Brand crew. This weekend is all about the beef and I couldn't be more happy.
I will be joining some of the great Sunday Supper bloggers as we fill our days with learning all there is to know about Certified Angus Beef® Brand; where cuts of meat come from, how to properly prepare, and even writing workshops and classes on making our photography better. I always say that meat is the hardest food subject to photograph so my learning cap is packed and ready along with a few camera lenses too!
I'm really eager to tell you about a new app called Roast Perfect that has been created for iphone and Android. It is a great tool for those of us {including ME!} who feel a bit intimidated to cook a roast for a big meal. I know for me, I am always worried I'm going to ruin it! This is a fun infographic :

I am all over the “Don't know how” and “Don't know what cuts to choose.”
The Roast Perfect app makes it easy – number of servings, cuts of meat, recipes…it has all the info you need to make a great roast.
This? This is a recipe I used from the many to choose from: Herbed Crusted Tenderloin. It was like butter- so tender and so juicy- my family raved about it for days as the best steak they ever had.
I'll share this recipe and more when I get back next week.
